Catalogue > Simchas > Barmitzvah & Batmitzvah > Pomegranate Seder Plate
Description

The pomegranate seeds are said to number 613 - one for each of the Bible's commandments. The pomegranate is revered for its beauty - symbolizing sanctity, fertility and abundance. This symbol of the seven species is one of the season of passover, spring. The Pomegranate seder plate had six separate sections for special foods central to the seder ceremony - shank bone, roasted egg, horseradish, haroset, parsley and bitter herbs. The beveled glass with the hebrew an english has been engraved. Each section of stained glass has been hand cut, wrapped in copper and solder to form the shape of the seder plate. Six seder plate bowls included.
